Free Yoga, anywhere!

If you want a workout you can do for free, at home (or anywhere) using only your body, check out Yoga with Adriene on YouTube.

Yoga with Adriene has a video for nearly every occasion: yoga for when you’re angry, yoga for strength, yoga for digestion, yoga for a broken heart, yoga for when you’re sore, and so on. There are hundreds of videos to suit you on any day. The YouTube channel offers a solution to common barriers like feeling tired or in a bad mood; there are videos for those days, too. To make your search easier, the videos are organized into playlists like Yoga for Weight Loss or Yoga for Healing. You can also use the search bar to see if there’s a video that fits your mood.

Adriene explains poses so clearly that even when I was first starting out, I didn’t have to keep staring at the video to know what to do. This is helpful because one purpose of these videos is to give your mind a break while you focus on building strength and balance in your body. Along the way, Adriene makes cheesy jokes that add lightheartedness to even the most intense workouts.

Adriene often says, “You made it to your mat; the hard part is over.” Often the hardest part of a workout is simply having the motivation to get started. To start doing Yoga with Adriene, all you have to do is go to YouTube. Yoga with Adriene’s tagline is “Find What Feels Good, and her range of videos makes it simple to find what works—and feels good—for you.
